Legal & compliance

What we commit to, and what we do not claim

We are explicit about the difference between standards we align our practices to and certifications we formally hold. Overstating either would be a poor start to a relationship built on trust.

Our standards

Six areas we hold ourselves accountable for

UK GDPR & Data Protection

Where we process personal data on your behalf we act as a processor under a written data processing agreement, on documented instructions, with agreed retention periods and sub-processor transparency. Data minimisation is applied at design time rather than audited for afterwards.

Information Security

Least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication, encryption in transit and at rest, dependency vulnerability scanning, and secrets held in managed vaults rather than in code. Our practices are aligned to ISO 27001 principles; we are explicit about alignment rather than implying certification.

Intellectual Property & Confidentiality

Client IP transfers on payment and is documented in every statement of work. Mutual NDAs are standard before discovery, staff are bound by confidentiality terms, and client material is never used in marketing without written consent.

Accessibility Standards

Public-facing interfaces are built and tested against WCAG 2.2 AA, covering keyboard operation, contrast, focus visibility, and screen-reader semantics. Accessibility is a delivery requirement in our definition of done, not a remediation project.

Contractual Transparency

Scope, acceptance criteria, dependencies, assumptions, change control, and commercial terms are set out in writing before work starts. Estimates state their assumptions so that when one proves wrong, the reason is traceable.

Subcontractor & Supplier Oversight

Any third party with access to client systems or data is subject to due diligence and contractual obligations that flow down our own confidentiality and security commitments. Sub-processors are disclosed, not discovered.
